Here are some great videos and discussions about powerful learning in schools. Why not use them with staff in your learning community.

The EDSPEAK clips with Greg and his teachers discuss in depth the agenda of learning and the importance of this being the agenda of all educationalsettings and learning communities. Greg is very clear when he says, The message is clear:

If we are to ensure that
teaching remains an ‘art’ for enabling the
acquisition of powerful learning in the 21st
century, we need to question the continuing
use of old pedagogies that belong in other
times and circumstances. Fundamental rethinking
is necessary. Relevant 21st century
pedagogy is not something that can be tacked
or massaged onto the pedagogies of the 20th
century.
